Creating the new Leon look

When we designed the new SEAT Leon, we used a special tool: light. Every day the

prototype was wheeled outside so we could see how the reﬂ ections and highlights

looked under the clear Spanish sun.

We worked tirelessly to make sure every line had the ideal depth and deﬁ nition.

And that every shadow created the right dramatic effect.

The ﬁ nal result is striking. The lines converge to form dynamic triangular shapes,

that give way to generous curves. This is what gives the new Leon its visual balance.

And it sums up its character well too. Bold but warm, and ready to shine in

every situation.
