Fuel Delivery System (5.7.8)
The fuel delivery systems including the tank internals must remain as those supplied by SEAT Sport UK.
The car is fitted with a double-sided fuel tank with two lift pumps. It is not recommended to run with less
then 5 litres remaining in the tank. The system is assembled as shown in diagram 27.
The fuel pressure can be monitored on the data logger. The low-pressure system must run above 2bar and
up to 6.5bar depending on engine load. The lift pumps located inside the fuel tank are operated via a
pulsed current control module, controlled by the engine control unit.
Fitted in the engine bay is a homologated 'Dry break connector' for draining and sampling fuel. To empty
the fuel tank there is a pump out control switch available from SEAT Sport UK, Part No. U4PL 971 001.
Caution! Do not run the lift pumps dry, as this will result in damage.
Diagram 27
